Approval workflows for tasks

Require sign-off before work counts as done. A rule holds the task, routes it to the project manager, the client or any teammate for a signature, then completes it or sends it back with the reviewer's notes.

  • Manager, client or specific approver
  • Signatures with a full audit trail
  • Rejected work returns with the reason

FAQS

Common questions

What can Vivotics automations do?

Automations are if/then rules: when a task is created, a status changes, a deal moves stage, a ticket arrives or an invoice goes overdue, Vivotics can assign people, change statuses, send emails, create tasks and notify clients automatically.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Rules are built with dropdowns in a visual builder: pick a trigger, add optional conditions, choose one or more actions. One-click recipes cover the most common rules.

How does auto-assignment work?

Choose round robin to rotate tasks evenly through a member pool, or least loaded to send each new task to whoever has the fewest open tasks right now.

Can tasks require approval from a client or manager?

Yes. A rule can hold any completed task in Waiting Approval and route it to the project manager, the client or a specific person for sign-off with a signature. Approval completes the task automatically; a rejection sends it back with the reviewer's reason.
