Your drive files, on the project

Link, do not duplicate

Browse your connected drive from the project files tab and link the folder contents that matter. Vivotics keeps the name, path and link; the file keeps its home, permissions and version history.

Every provider, one flow

Dropbox, OneDrive and SharePoint connect per company from Settings in a couple of clicks. Expired connections flag themselves for reconnection instead of failing silently.

Permissions stay honest

Linking follows project file permissions, drive management needs the storage settings permission, and opening a file lands on the provider where its own sharing rules apply. No side doors.

  • Project file permissions for linking
  • Settings permission for connections
  • Provider enforces file access on open

FAQS

Common questions

How do cloud file links work?

Connect a drive once, then browse it from any project and link the files that matter. Vivotics stores a reference (name, location and link), not a copy, so the file stays in your drive with its existing permissions and version history.

Which providers are supported?

Dropbox, OneDrive and SharePoint. OneDrive and SharePoint connect through your Microsoft account; Dropbox through yours. Each company connects its own drives from Settings.

Are linked files copied into Vivotics?

No. Links point at the original file in your drive. Nothing is duplicated, storage is not consumed twice, and the drive stays the single source of truth. Unlinking removes only the reference.

Who can link and see cloud files?

Linking follows your existing project file permissions, and connecting or disconnecting drives requires the storage settings permission. Opening a linked file lands on the provider, which enforces its own sharing rules.
