Signing: typed and drawn signatures

Signers act from a personal link that works on any device, with no account needed for external signers.

The signing page

The link opens a clean page showing the document title, description, the signing order and where they sit in it. When it is their turn they can:

• Type their full name (rendered as a signature), or
• Draw their signature with mouse or finger on the signature pad.
• Optionally leave a comment.
• Approve and sign, or Request changes / reject.

Link properties

• Each link is personal to one signer on one flow: do not share it.
• Opening the page records a viewed timestamp even before signing.
• Once the signer has acted, the page shows their decision and timestamp; the link cannot be used to sign again.

For your team

Internal signers can also reach their pending signatures from in-app notifications, and clients see theirs in the portal under Your action items.
