Client action items
The single biggest source of project delay is the thing you are waiting on the client for. Vivotics makes that list explicit, visible and completable.
How it works
- Assign a task to a client contact ("Upload brand assets", "Approve the copy deck").
- The client gets an email and an in-app alert immediately.
- In their portal, Your action items lists everything waiting on them: due dates highlighted, one Mark complete button each, plus anything waiting for their signature.
- When they complete an item it moves to Recently completed, and your team sees the task close in real time.
Why it beats email
- The client always has a current, single list; no digging through threads.
- You can see at a glance which clients are sitting on how many items (filter the activity feed by client).
- Completion is an event: automations can fire on it (notify the PM, advance a stage).
Tips
- Keep client items atomic: "Upload logo files" beats "Send us everything we need".
- Put honest due dates on them; overdue items show amber in the portal.
