Proofing and design feedback

"Make the logo bigger" is useless without knowing which logo, where. Proofing pins feedback to an exact spot on an image so revisions are unambiguous.

Leaving feedback

  1. On a task's Files tab, select Proof next to any image.
  2. Click anywhere on the image: a pin drops and a comment box opens.
  3. Write what should change at that spot and save. Pins are numbered and listed beside the image.

Resolving

Your team resolves pins as they address them (resolved pins grey out but stay on record) and can reopen any pin that was not actually fixed.

Client review

Clients open the same proof view from their portal for files on their projects. They can drop pins where they want changes and use the review bar to Approve or Request changes. Every review action is logged with who and when, so "the client approved v2 on Tuesday" is a record, not a memory.

Works well with

  • Client action items: assign the client a "Review homepage design" task linking to the proof.
  • Approval flows: when sign-off needs to be formal and multi-party, route the deliverable through an approval chain instead.
