Set up your workspace
Ten minutes of setup makes everything downstream smoother. Do these in order.
Company settings
Under Settings > Company Settings set your company name, logo, timezone, currency and date format. The logo and colors flow into the client portal, invoices and public pages, so this is worth doing first.
Statuses and labels
Task statuses (the board columns) are defined per company under task board settings. The defaults are Incomplete, To Do, Doing and Completed; add stages that match how your team actually works. Labels and task categories help you filter later.
Working days and leave policy
Under HR settings, define working days, shifts and leave types. Attendance and payroll both read from these, so getting them right early avoids corrections later.
Connect SMTP so Vivotics can send mail (assignments, reminders, invoices, signing requests), and connect the support IMAP inbox if you want email-to-ticket and email-to-task. See SMTP and IMAP configuration.
Modules
Turn modules on or off per your plan under settings. Everything from Payroll to Recruit to Zoom is a module: keep the menu lean by enabling only what you use today. You can enable more later without losing anything.
Automations
Install two or three recipes before inviting the team. Auto-assignment and due-soon alerts are the ones most teams keep forever.
