Quick-start recipes
Recipes are prebuilt automations you install with one click from the top of Work > Automations. Install first, adjust after: every recipe becomes a normal rule you can edit.
The starter set
| Recipe | What it does |
|---|---|
| When a task is completed, email the client | Status change to done sends a progress note to the project's client |
| Auto-assign new tasks round robin | Distributes incoming work evenly across the team |
| Escalate new tickets with a task | Every new support ticket spawns a follow-up task due tomorrow |
| Raise priority when due within 24 hours | Due-soon tasks jump to high priority and ping their assignees |
| Chase overdue invoices automatically | The day an invoice goes overdue, the client gets a polite reminder |
After installing
Open the rule to tailor it: narrow it to one project, change the email wording, swap the member pool. The recipe text is a starting point, not a contract.
A sensible first stack
Most teams run these three within a week: round robin assignment, due-soon priority raise, and the overdue invoice chaser. Together they cover intake, deadlines and cash: the three places balls get dropped.
