Time tracking and timesheets

Track time where the work happens: on the task.

Timers

Open a task and press Start Timer. The running timer follows you in the topbar; stop it when you switch work. One active timer per person keeps the data honest.

Manual entries

Forgot the timer? Add a time log manually to any task with start and end times and a memo.

Timesheets

Work > Timesheet shows logged time by person, day and week. Managers see the team; individuals see their own. Hours roll up to the task, the project (against its budget) and the member.

Estimates vs actuals

Give tasks estimated hours and compare them with logged time on the task detail. The Workload view uses these estimates to show who is over capacity before it becomes a missed deadline.

Billing tracked time

Logged hours on a client project can be pulled into invoices, so billable time becomes billed time without spreadsheet exports.
